Children’s Mercy Gift Shop wins AIA KC award
We are excited to announce that the Children’s Mercy Adele Hall Campus Gift Shop won the AIA KC People’s Choice Award! Shield manufactured solid surface fins to match and support the wavy architectural details of the room as a whole, and we worked with BRR Architecture and HMN Architects to complete their beautiful design. The colorful ceiling creates a calm, playful environment that perfectly matches the tone of the children’s shop.
The white fins along the back of the store seamlessly flow into the ceiling, contributing to the continuous movement of the design.
BRR Architecture and HMN Architects worked with Shield and others to bring this design to life.
